Canine broad-spectrum antibiotic in oral dosage form: oral tablets. Combines broad-spectrum antibiotic activity of amoxicillin with unique b-lactamase inhibiting effect of clavulanic acid, which extends the antibacterial spectrum to b-lactamase-producing and non-b-lactamase-producing organisms.
Plavix (clopidogrel) keeps the platelets in your blood from coagulating (clotting) to prevent unwanted blood clots that can occur with certain heart or blood vessel conditions. Plavix is used to prevent blood clots after a recent heart attack or stroke, and in people with certain disorders of the heart or blood vessels. Trazodone (Desyrel, Oleptro, Beneficat, Deprax, Desirel, Molipaxin, Thombran, Trazorel, Trialodine, Trittico, Mesyrel) is an antidepressant of the serotonin antagonist and reuptake inhibitor (SARI) class. It is a phenylpiperazine compound. Trazodone also has anxiolytic, and hypnotic effects.[1] Trazodone has considerably less prominent anticholinergic (dry mouth, constipation, tachycardia) and sexual side effects than most of the tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs).
On 23 October 2008, the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) issued a press release stating its Committee for Medical Products for Human Use (CHMP) had concluded the benefits of Acomplia no longer outweighed its risks, and subsequently recommended the product be suspended from the UK market. Sanofi-Aventis later released a press statement stating the drug had been suspended. Approval of the drug was officially withdrawn by the EMEA on 16 January 2009.
